computer question

I was told to day that some computers between the years of 89-93 are better then others could someone clear this up for me thanks

Lots of people say that one of the best EEC-IVs to use was the A9L computer, which came on on 5.0 HO Automatic cars ( I think - someone help me out with this) which had a slightly more aggressive tune to make up for the lack of performance when compared to the T5 models...

Well it really dont matter unless you are gonna keep your car mildly modded. After that you will get a chip burned anyway to make it run right or buy a Programmable Management System like I did...

The A9L was for the stick shift cars.

I have one installed but I have an auto. the only thing I noticed is when I start the car ,the engine doesn't idle at the higher rpm then drop down like the stock auto computer does.

Anderson Ford Motorsport PMS. Thats the one I got and it cost me a little over a grand. Has everything you need to tune your ride. Including but surely not limited to nitrous and boost tables higher than stock rev limiter, two step rev limiter. It has fuckin everything.. Also need to get a wide band. another 450 bucks. I also trailered my car from New York to Illinois to Anderson Ford for my dyno tune.. Worth every cent and 30+ hour round trip....

damn, I am pretty close to illinois. But there are quite a few good tuning locations around here.

Well if you buy an Anderson PMS there is no better place to go than Anderson Ford now is there?
