1. remove air silencer
2. add underdrive pulleys
3. remove weight
4. gears (3.27-4.30)
5. exhaust
6. mass air meter (if your car is an 89 or up)
7. intake manifold
8. throttlebody
9. cylinder heads
10. cam
11. power adder (n2o, super- or turbocharger)

of course, don't forget the suspension work and chassis bracing.

Get a good tune. Find a speedshop that has done your type of car w/ the mods you have/want.

Will save ya from having to have a custom fuel map built. That =$$$ for you.

As for gears, alot of peeps say 3.73. I got 'em and want some 3.55's.
1st&2nd are pointless.

Run a supercharger. Beef up your motor and go with a centrifugal S/C.
ProCharger, Vortech, Paxton.

well first of all whats done to it now? and whats your budget? T5 or auto car? 4.10s with a drag radial, full exhaust, and mild bolt ons will give you a mid 13 second car wich makes for a fun daily driver.

start with the suspension and work your way UP to your motor.

Suspension is a must on these cars, they just plain suck in stock form. If you want a fun DD car then do gears (I have 3.73's and they are more than enough for the street) some bolt ons like exhaust, intake, pulley's, TB, MAF, and upgrade the ignition. My car has all the bolt ons plus a cam and a 75 shot and its plenty to compete on the streets, fun as hell and makes a good DD. Nitrous is fun!
