How fast can a turbo lexus go ? I can get a stock 5 liter into the low 12s for less then a grand with just a set of gears, tires and a 125 shot.

sell the god damn thing. No one should have to sit here and try to convince you to keep the damn thing.
Your obviously bored, or tired of the thing, get rid of it. you will think back on it, and say "I should have got off mom's tit, and kept my 'stang" but who the fuck cares?

^^ I must agree a little bit with this statement. It really is just a fox and there will still be plenty more to buy later in life when you want one again. Now you may not be able to find your exact mustang but there will be plenty to choose from.
I often think about selling mine just to free up some $$ and have come close but the wife is the one who convinces me to keep it. Then I go drive it and am happy with the decision to keep it. |

You don't have funds to keep the stang but you have funds to buy, maintain, and possibly modify a newer luxury performance car? Funds are obviously not your concern, you are just bored with the stang. Nothing wrong with that, sell it and use the money for something else.

You need to be honest with yourself. Either you like driving the car, or your don't. If you don't like driving, you need to sell it. If you do, well, then you need to sell something else. Either way, it's not us that have to (or get to) drive your car, so our opinion isn't worth dick.

So instead of seeing your car rack up miles youd rather not see it at all? Whats the big deal about miles anyway? Forget weekend fun have fun everyday. Then take the money for insurance and maintance that would have went into your pos ricer and slowly work on the Ford.

Not to mention insurance cost for a Lexus is sky high. You'll probably end up paying possibly triple what your paying now for insurance cause a Lexus cost alot of money to maintain and fix if something goes wrong. You could put a Mustang through the quarter in 11 seconds for the cost of the intake manifold alone for the 2JZ.

You guys are mostly right (xcept the closet comment LOL).. I need to decide which I would rather have... thats just the bottom line.... Keeping the stang would cost me less..

it is obviously up to you but my vote definetly goes for keeping it, buy a new part for it or like stated before start swinging dounuts, that should help you make up your mind

Drive the mustang and start enjoying it... why the fuck are you worried about putting miles on the car if your not enjoying it what's the sense in owning it unless you have money out your ass and your collection cars which i've gathered you don't.
So try daily driving the thing for a few weeks... you'll actualy enjoy the car and end up not getting rid of it until years later down the road when shit starts knickel and diming you to death like any car of its age would. or sell to some 17 year old that puts chrome fender guards on it and wraps it around a pole racing a 17 second civic |

/\ +1
I loved daily driving my mustang last year, made driving to work a hoot. and I could burn off some steam on the way home if need be. Now I have a focus to daily drive, and my mustang just sits in the garage, and i have to find time to work on it, or drive it which i HATE! id rather drive it into the ground then have it sit like it is at the moment.
