If you want that intake, get whatever TB it matches to. If you have a stock MAF, it's worth getting something bigger.

What's your budget? What do you want to do with the car?

Complete track heat system, 75 mm tb, MAF and matching injectors, for 400 hp you will want 30 lb injectors. Ditch those headers and get long tubes and matching mid pipe. stroke the motor out. and a great tune to get 400 hp...

I am getinng all that stuff and wont have 400. about 375 with a good tune...

if you really want 400, do some little stuff and then throw on a power adder.

?????????? My gosh, these wicked answers...

If you want 400hp easy, smack some heads @ 64cc-71cc 210cc Intake Runners, trickflow stage II .542/.563 lift. If you car is EFI get a good tune, find some displacments, replace pistons with a nice forged set, valve porting.

That will save you a lot of money and no need for a power adder just for a easily grabbed 200hp more. Not saying never go forced induction but you can achieve power naturally aspirated than automatically going for a blower. To be honest before you even think about a blower, I would recommend forged bottom end and a much stronger set of head gaskets

Wow dude, what was so wicked? I listed power adder LAST! I listed a good combo to get near to 400 horse power, add porting and a GREAT tune and you have 400 easy. The TF stage 2 is nice, but you will get better numbers out of a custom cam ground for your setup.

GTXRacing left out the bare essentials you will need. What about injectors? I doubt you want to run the 19 pound stockers with 400 hp. Or the stock air system for that matter? You will need bigger for that new intake to breath. I know you can go without any suspension mods, but you might want to invest in some control arms and maybe some sticky tires to hook too.

Dont worry man, a power adder isnt coming for me until i reach 400 N/A...I dont want to just strap on a blower. I want to work some!

i already have some mt street they stick really good from you guys info I'll probably buy some tf twisted wedge heads and the tf track heat intake with 75mm tb 80mm mass air and 24lb injectors but will that make my fuel mileage go down alot?

When you say find some displacements you mean stroke the motor right? Cuz with out that you aint gettin 400 hp. And if you did mean stroke the motor then Tony already answered the question..

nothing is wrong with scat..it was a sexual fetish joke...Its where people shit on each other.. if you are gonna put on a supercharger or turbo the compression you have is way to high. You need 8.5-9.0:1 compression for a power adder motor... So that means if you put the right pistons in now you will not make nowhere as much hp as you planned until you get the power adder..

So what are the rigth pistons? Dish? And let me get this right. I will have less hp with different pistons but not have to change them out again if i go with a power adder? Is that what you are saying?

Yeah, because if you get a set of pistons that give you lower compression now, you can put a power adder on later.

However, it you're pushing 10.0+:1 compression with a particular set of pistons now, you can't put the power adder on without blowing something up. So in the end, you'll make less power. But higher compression gives you more power now.

I can't think of a way to gauge that, but stock is 9:1 for our 5.0s I think. So if you set up with 9:1, there's no power loss. 8.5:1 would be a little, but you can boost that much higher later on down the road.

You're asking the wrong guy. There's a lot of things to consider that I just don't know how to interpret for you.

I'm going the other direction though; I have milled GT40Ps that should approach 10:1, so no nitrous for me ;-(

Assuming I ever put the things on; my car pissed me off today so I just feel like letting it die </rant>
