Need help using a 5.0 upper intake on a 5.8 lower intake

Hello ALL!

I'm pretty sure I saw this on here somewhere on here.. and yes.. I did serch the archives... but did not find what I was looking for. I SORT OF remember someone on here talking about the 351 or 5.8 swap.. and then someone using the 5.0 upper intake with some sort of adapter from some Bronco web site.. I just need to know what and/or where that was!!!!???

If I'm blowing smoke.. then...

however I am doing a budget swap of my dead 5.0 with a 5.8 that I had rebuilt a few years ago in my 89 GT Convt. Can anyone or EVERYONE help please?

when you swap a 351w for your 5.0 its never.. in a budget. engine changes are costly.

you could just give edelbrock or trick flow a call they make 5.8 lowers

OK!!!!!! to give an ending to the thread....for future ppl!

I did find what I was looking for.... an adapter that puts a 5.8 EFI lower intake together with a stock 5.0 upper intake. The cost was $110 with shipping.. $99 the part by itself. The website is BCBroncos.com and the direct link is/was :

Hope this help anyone else in the future!

Its nice because you can reuse and get an engine up and running on a budget!

This setup wont be on there for ever... but... it works for now....and I think it will work well with the stock hood!
