Running Rich


my 87 gt s running rich i cant figgor it out my eng light is on and it says 51 54 85 87 i might be wrong on the 54 i think the 54 is A.C.T.S i cant find the sensor any where but i have the plugin on the drive side behind the desibutor i NEED HELP

you cant fint the act sensor ???? its on the #3 cyl. or 1st one on the drivers side just abve the water temp sensor

way would it be getting to much fuel the fuel sys is stock but the motor is built 306

i have a 91 intake and plantum and it isnt there??

thats ur problem the act im sure ya know hels the comp. figure out the air fuel ratio. so do what i did to my exploer intake and drill and tap the # 3 cylinder with a 3/8 npt tap get ya a sensor dis connect the neg. batt. terminal for 20 min to clear the conp and start it up with the new sesor plugged in the bataboom the computer will adjust the ratio

thanks i will try that do u have any ideal way the sensor isnt there?? when did they quit putting the act on 5.0 or did they becaues i bought this intake off of a guy and he said it was 90-92 or somthing like thats

do u have a plu for that sensor ???? that side of the harness shoul have ur oilpressure, collant temp and act? what kind of manifold is it???

sorry again im a dumb ass ... ya thats weired it dosent have the bung ya just get it drilled and tapped 3/8 npt and get ya a sensor it like 17 bucks from napa and it should lean ya right up. let us know how it works for ya
