Ok,
Thanks guys, I'm removing the FMU! I am now waiting on my mass air to return from Pro-M and some exhaust to arrive. I am changing from my butchered h-pipe and shop bent crappy cat backs into knock off flow masters (long story I got ripped off) to a new x-pipe and Magna flow cat backs!

good stuff, just keep in mind that if you dont have a wideband on there you have no way of knowing what your a/f is; so i'd be weary of driving it until tuned.

i don't want to be the bad guy, but to be honest; Don't expect alot out of the powerdyne. Enjoy it while you can, but switch head units down the road to a v2 or something. It will really pick up.

Oh, I know, I am real up to speed on the powerdynes, I actually like them. This is my 3rd, Just my first install. My last one had been upgraded I ran the guts out of it while it made 12 psi perfectly, I like the no oil lines, and quietness of the powerdyne. spend about 600 bucks on the head unit and it really is a pretty good piece. My motor is a 9:5 to 1 anyhow and I like to play it safe so 9 lbs is plenty for me. A good base power plant of 300-320 RWHP before the supercharger,,,,,,, Well I figure it should scoot pretty well for an ole junked out 5.slow hahahahahaha

The blower that is.

re: blower

I havent messed with this one, I went into the previous one to be able to spin the blower to higher rpms to obtain 12-14 psi safely. The biggest broblem with people calling Powerdyne head units junk is that they try to get to much boost out of them with out setting them up correctly. They really do need a blow off vlv, people try to spin a head unit designed to put out 6 psi enough rpms to get 12 psi and when they get 12 psi they are stoked, well that works for a breif period and most of the time they dont even run a blow off, that is the biggest no no with a powerdyne, especially if your turning up the RPM's it needs a good blow off set up. Back off the throttle, bam there goes the belt and they blame the head unit, even though they are turning 80k rpms with no blow off, the kit was never intended to do so! so people blamed it all on Powerdyne, I have had three, and I know of a few more out here that were done right with not a single problem, but none of the people I know threw the kit on and expected 12-14 lbs or if they did they did the upgrades needed to obtain it and still had no problems.
I am going to install a good blow off and try to keep my rpm speeds below 65K on the blower and see where that puts it, If I shell the belt then I will do what is needed to upgrade the head unit its only about 500 bucks or so but in that range to get it safe to put out what I want/need. So Its trial/error with the head unit.

ok the way I am routing my belt it will be spinning me water pump backwards. Its a high flow race water pump. I assume this is going to cause problems?

for your belt situation, the stock style water pumps are reverse rotation, or counter clockwise. Assuming you mean what ever rotation water pump you have your belt will be spinning it the wrong direction, than yes... that is an issue, will not work right or cool.
