not sure what to do cam and car opinions
ok between the e-303 cam x-303 cam maybe a z-303 MAYBE!!!! trying to figure out what would be better to go with wher i would not have any computer problems and any ptv problems. this is what i do know i have the gt40 heads and cobra intake the problem im basically running into is that the car that i have is a 88 gt mustang and saposbly has a 93 cobra swap so im trying to find out if its a true cobra motor so i know what to get. the thing that confuses me is that my throttle positioning sensor went out and i bought one for a 93 cobra and it made my car throttle stick wide open so i went a head and went and got one for the 88 mustang gt and it worked perfect but it does a have a 75 mm bbk throttle body on it so i was thinking maybe off a 88 intake to the cobra intake........any help would be nice this thing is so damn confusing and the guy i got it from didnt really know for sure what it had done to it so its pretty much been a guessing game

I think you will wish you would have gone with better heads (twisted wedge or afr offer some very nices cam head kits that shouldnt have clearance probs. the gt-40s are ok but even the best port and polish will not = the hp that trick flow will make.

With the GT-40 I would go with the E-cam. This setup shouldnt give you any computer problems.

Just get a cam with .767/.842 Custom heads with DEEEEP Chambers maybe something in the 342cc and 81cc flow LOL I'm just throwing all of my drunk BS jokes out... The E Cam would be a good setup after reading about them

the e cam is a good cam and so is the x but they are not as good as most other cams on the market for the 5.0. take for instance if u gonna go with a smaller cam i would go with trick flow stage 1. but if ur gonna go bigger i would say stage 2. out of all of those with gt40 heads i would go either trick flow stage 1 or b303 cam. but ur heads are good enough where if u wanted something big like the stage 2 u can do it fine and get real good power out of it.
