Somthing is not quite right

so I blew up the stang a few months ago and put a new engine in. after a few glitches were fixed I got it running pretty decent. Here is a few issues I am having.

Here is what I have:
DSS 306 level 20 block (pretty new with no leaks in good shape)
procomp heads
trickflow stage 2 cam
410 gears
timing at 16
Stock t5
stock clutch
stock clutch cable with adjustable quadrant

after I got it back together the clutch was grabbing high so I installed the adjustable clutch piece to the stock cable because I had it lying around...was that a problem?

1. When the car is running in nuetral I feel a strange vibration and when I press the clutch I feel it in the clutch pedal...when I got the engine running I cant remember if it was there or not before I added the adjustable clutch pieces...

2. car seems down on power. In my old motor I would peel through 1st and second and chirp third.
now I peel in first until 4 grand and hook...chirp second and strong grab in third.

any ideas?

The vibration could be a ton of things, I think the trans assembly needs to come back out and check: run out clearances at the flywheel, trans mounting areas, etc.
was the flywheel resufaced? was the throwout bearing correctly placed on the fork?
I really think you're going to need a good tune with your new motor set up, I think more info would help too, injector size, MAF? etc.
I know alot of people like to use their "butt" dyno's, but did you actually Dyno or run it on the track to see if in fact you do have a difference? I think with the proper tuning and also on the Dyno you can see where your at.

the transmission never came out of the car... only took the engine out....I took at the flywheel and diddnt see any scorching or cracks but did not check runout.

I agree with you about a tune...dont have funds at the moment!

32lb injectors
70mm mass air
255lph fuel pump....

all of which was on the old engine.
