Pay to have it done. That's my only advise.

I have done them on the car. Get the nice ball joints from napa. They are works of art. I tried ball joints from auto zone but they kept making noise. (I went through 2 sets of AZ ones before going to napa ) I installed the napa ones only to find out that the hole in the a arm was wollered out from replacing them so many times. I eventually installed the FRPP ones from ford. If summit has ones for 150 for both, I would strongly recommend you go that route.

Hit me up if you have any more questions. I will probably not answer 'til tomorrow.

Yeah, this thread was old so those ones at Summit are now $300.

How hard can it be on a fox? I have done numerous times on trucks, and SUV's and once on my Mach. I was never frustrated over it that I can recall..

it can be done but by the time you replace the one worn out part on the control arm (ball joint) you may as well do the bushings.... easier to replace with whole new pieces by the time you fight with all of the tooling and such. ball joints can be done on the car. it is not that difficult. i just think that you will end up replacing the whole thing (control arm in the long run)
