Limp mode???
I removed all of the emissions stuff, from the air pump, vacuum lines and egr. Now the car falls flat at 3500 rpm. Check engine light is always on. I want maximum performance out of the car and all the emissions stuff was hacked up by the previous owner. Is the car in limp mode or is there something I can do to get my check engine light off and get my power back?

Have the codes read at your local autozone or by someone with a diagnostics tool. Its hard to troubleshoot without a starting point. :wink
