Car Missing Out

So here's the situation. When i pull my car to redline and shift hard the car starts to miss out. It feels like a dead plug or injector. The car will miss for about 1 minute then pull itself out of it. Any suggestions? My mod list consists of GT40 heads, GT40 intake,Under Drives,B303w1.72rrs,BBK headers,73mm MAFS,CAI,Catless H-PipewFlows,Timing Advanced. I probably forgot a few. Can anyone tell me an estimated horsepower number? All replys will be appreciated

If its cutting out @ redline (Where is your redline?) your ingition is having trouble firing the plugs.

What year is your car? Do you have an ignition upgrade on it? If so, what type? Try testing your coil @ a parts store. Are your ingition cables(wires) shorting out? Crossing a ground?

Redline is 5500. Ignition is stock. The car will also rev itself up. It will be idleing fine then all the sudden jump 750-1000 rpms and stay there for a few seconds.

Try unpluggin the IAC (on the throttle body) and see if it(the idle) smooths out. If so, odds are its bad. Possibly the MAF or TPS.

TT86 had a problem similiar to this, I think. No quoting tho.

Yeah redline is 5500 but if I remember correctly the rev limiter kicks in at 6250rpm? I have a PMS and mine is set at 6700rpm..

Heheh... Mine don't have all that. It'll twist till I let my foot off the gas. I got my shift light @6700 tho.

Need to get an MDS or something...

Whats an MSD gonna do? If you have an MSD box and say you put a 6500rpm chip in there, I dont think it's gonna change the rev limit. That function is in the computer and you need something to bypass that.. Like a PMS or a rev limit extender...

The pills will cut spark at the desired rpm, but the factory rev limiter needs to be turned of in the pcm if you plan on taking it past 6250. The factory rev limiter cuts the fuel not spark.

It will wind ALL the way out. Evidently, that lil diddy has already been removed.

My car is a 5.0 conv. done before I bought it from my buddy. Started out as a 2.3
