what are some good cheap power adders i can put on my car?


i have a 95 mustang gt 5.0 auto, with 3.73 gears b&m shift kit bbk underdrive pullys, cold air intake with k&n filter, sct chip, msd blaster coil, nitrous express 75 shot, hooker headers off road h pipe with 40 series flow masters, i wanna get some more power with cheap power adders i haven't hit the nitrous yet but i wanna hear some opinions if anyone has some parts for sale Lmk thanks kyle

hit the nitrous its the cheapest poweradder there is (short term)

Your ready for heads and cam swap, and then a good mass air meter calibrated from 24# injectors and get some 24 pounders... Other then that... change out for a 100 shot or 125

i heard of some ppl putting the 98 explorer/ mountaineer 5.0 gt40p heads and intake on them does that help alot? what about a throttle body? and what size of a throttle body?

the combo from what I hear is good for 30rwhp and I would run a 70mm TB no bigger... That would be a good budget build man...

thanks for the all the help. i was thinking about putting a cam in to because my front main is starting to leak and i am gonna change it but i was gonna put a cam in at the same time what cam would you suggest? i see alot of people saying they have the x303 or the e303 cam? and do you think a 3600 stall would help or make the car slower? because its really doggy form the line until it gets up to rpms

unless you upgrade your heads, I wouldnt look into any aftermarket camshaft. If you do upgrade your heads and/or decide to get a cam I would stay away from the alphabet cams as there are much better options out there.

+1 Dont get a letter cam go trickflow or anderson motorsports, 3600 is way to much stall for your app, a 2800-3000 would work, I have a stage 2 cam and Need a high stall and I am only going with a 3200... stock to mild cam doesnt need or could benifit from a 3600 but a 3000 are would help. You kinda wanna lock up right where your making good power not way after the fact...

If you really want really cheap mods.
weight reduction.

a light car goes faster, simple.
alot of people would disagree, but its pure science and physics.

but with your setup, i would probably go with a Stall converter.
those aods suck. probably a 3200 max.

you could always swap over GT40 heads and a #cam easy
i would stray from the # cams though. maybe, like Timm said, an andersen # or trickflow cam

i have heard the aodes are junk i wanna change mine to 5 speed but i don't have the money for all that ( flywheel, flywheel bolts, clutch kit, t5 trans, pedal assembly, 5 speed ecu/ wiring for trans, clutch cable, 5 speed cross member, 5 speed drive shaft, and what ever else i am missing, if someone had a parts car with all that for cheap that would be awesome but i cant find one
