Battery relocation Question
Where are you guys running the batter cables? Under the carpet? Near the frame rails?

I ran mine outside through the spare tire compartment, and up away from the muffler and away from the SFC's, alot easier IMO to throw in 4 screws underneath than to pull up the carpet, and there was plenty of clearance around the mufflers and drive shaft, but I had just enough cable to do the job, would have saved at least a foot if I ran it inside

So it's unanimous then, through the carpet is the way to go. Thanks guys.

i google searched and found few other "crazies"
who ran it outside too, even a shop that did it too, but majority voted inside...

I looked at the rear seats, poked around to see if I could feed the cable thought for about 2 minutes and said eff it....lazy, but the under car method worked just fine, well my fuel pump primed anyways and everything I tried worked, just waitng to fire it up for the first time now....

I did. Last thing I want is some big ass welding cable running through the inside of my car. Plus in a accident if one gets pinched or cut to where it grounds and things start melting and catching on fire the last thing I want that shit on fire inside the car.

I'm pretty sure most people put a fuse to protect that from happening

Also more prone to damage outside the car though.
