buying 95 GT

i found a 95 GT w/ 85k on it, and i'm thinking of buying it. the guy is selling it for $5100, does anyone think i could get a better deal or is that a good price. also, i don't know much about 5.0's, i've owned a 00 GT and i'm not used to the push rod engines. what do you guys recomend to get this stang goin. i've read a PI head swap from a 4.6 would help, but beyond that, i'm not sure, any advice would be welcomed. thanks all.

Eh, it's my preference, but I would stick to pushrods.

As far as $5100 for that, I wouldn't do it. I'm not a fan of any body style after the Foxes. You can find a Fox for cheaper than that.

Just my idears!

What do you like better is what you get.. or look for and as far as price goes, how much are you willing to spend? I got a 95 GT vert for 5K and I love it..I do miss the fox but the 95 was from an old guy that kept it stock, if you buy it you can sell it later on. Never know you might like it better.

Why would you think of 4.6 P1 heads when 95s are 5.0?

you should start with the suspension(control arms, subframe conn. ,shocks,
and springs. for the engine you could get a trickflow top end kit. get some long tubes and matching H or X pipe and a catback exhaust.Dont forget a set of gears(3.73-4.10s)

well, i just heard the heads and pistons from the 4.6 would work on the 5.0's. i'm not sure how they would work but its just what i've read here and there. well, i like the 5.0, its a nice stang, i was just curious for the mileage is the price good? fox's are bad ass, but i just saw this one and liked it. yea, i'm looking to get 300hp to the crank, thats my goal for the future. and i know parts for 5.0's are that expensive, so i could mangage that. thanks for the input.

p.i. heads and cams are meant for 4.6 motors ONLY. as far as the pricing goes, i got a 1995 gt 5spd, flows and headers for $3200 with ~130k miles.
