Speedo problem???
Hey guys I have an 89 lx. when i bought it from my neighbor the speedometer was off about 20-25mph. It is a 160mph speedometer. I replaced the speedo cable no change. I checked the speedo gear and it is a 17 tooth gear and from what i can tell from the differential tag it has a 2.73 ratio. Does anyone have any advice, any would help at this time thanks.

Are you sure the gears havent been swapped?

no not as i far as i can tell i was hoping i could see if the pinion was stamped but no luck there. is there another way to find out.
