Well with a power adder it is very possible using used parts. If he can pick up a used s-trim he'd be set or a bottle for that matter. With my power adder I lay down just under 1000 hp at the wheels.
Whats your setup?
425 inch small block, TEA CNC ported 235 R-series heads, custom Comp Cams solid roller, M2 Race Systems ported super Victor intake, 1000cfm Holley HP, 2 1/8" headers, etc, etc......

.....and of course a pretty blue bottle.

Why do you say that? This car will drive anywhere. Sure, I can only run race fuel but that is all my buddy can run in his bone stock 67 Vette. Race fuel is plentiful in Wisconsin.

cut and dried...if you do it yourself...you'll need your 302 block, aftermaket stroker crank, h or i beam rods and short pistons so you might as well, get all 3 sets together which there are lots of places in mm&ff that sell the kits for $12-1500. you then need a GOOD machinist to bore the block to .030 over, line hone the mains and the assy must be balanced. afetr all that...youll be pissing in the wind if you dont get a good cam, and heads and run either carb and intake or mass air and intake...good luck!!!!!!! fordracing parts.com...ck em out.
