A1000 Pump With 255lph In-Tank Pump ?

I need to run some sort of booster pump for my nitrous kit.

My brother said I can use his A1000 until I get enough money for a better pump. If I were to leave the 255lph in-tank pump in the tank, and just T into the feed line would this work.

Chill dude, if you don't have an answer in 30 minutes, just wait. A lot of knowledgeable people here are older than you and they have families and jobs. Some people only show up at 3 in the morning, some people show up at 6. You don't make friends by bumping you non-emergency topic every half hour.

you can T in 100 pumps unless you go with bigger feed line or lines your not going to get enough fuel to where it needs to go.i just bought new fuel system(dual 255 lph external pumps with sumped tank and dual -6 feed lines for 89 gt (505 hp) for $1400. if your interested it is a complete system, plus other systems available, comes with all hoses, fittings, choice of pumps, choice of tanks, and regulator and rails. let me know and i will pm you the site to check out. dont know how the vendor thing is in this forum

A 255LPH pump will support a shit ton of power. like angermgt said, the feedlines will be a soft spot in you system. -8 for feed and -6 for a return. You have a AFPR right?

how much nitrous are you shooting? What kind of system (wet, dry, direct port) The A1000 is capable of supporting over 1000HP by itself. What does your brother think you need?

From what I hear a 255lph pump will support 600 - 625 crank horsepower. Im estimating the motor alone to have 375 - 400 crank horsepower + another 300 from an NX wet 250 shot, So thats around 675 - 700 crank horsepower. Everyone told me if your running boost or a big nitrous shot just to run a booster pump like a T-rex or something.

All I want to know is if I T into the feed line with the A1000 if it will work properly or not.

Thanx

A 255lph pump will not support 600+ hp.. Just spend the 250 bucks for the booster pump...

you sound like you want reinforcement of what you think is right. go for it and let me know how much it costs to rebuild you sb, probably alot more than a real fuel system. as far as the pump goes that is not your problem the line size is.

I agree with stangzilla. Or just drop the tank and go with a better flowing pump.
