Need Specs.

What kind of horse power and torque does a stock 95' GT 5.0 L make both at the crank and wheels? Also what are there 1/4 mile times usually around? Oh and all this is for a hard top automatic. 0-60 time?

i think it makes 205-215hp at the fly. What do you have done?If you are just starting out get some longtubes ,h or x pipe and a catback. dont forget a set of 3.73s or 4.10s.

ricers are stupid and dillusional since they cant comprehend math so they made up their own. They think they can beat a mustang with their stock "all motor" 1.5 liter civic grocery getter. They think their cars are fast and furious but in reality they are slow and ridiculous.

Just to put my two cents in about the ricers.........I out ran almost all of the little civics and stuff in town with my 4 banger tacoma 4x4 with 32's......if you cant take a 4 banger 4x4 truck just give up already.....if you want to have something to get an adrenaline rush grab a 5.0 and start from there.

my2cents: forget about the 95 and find a nice 89-93 5oh...with a 5 speed. the 94-95 5ohs are heavy and when combined with an auto tranny can be relatively slow...15 seconds in the 1/4. the newer stangs have a couple of advantages; ie stiffer chassis and 5 lug wheels, but IMHO its not worth it. if you wanna go fast buy a foxbody stang

I agree with tengram but i would go with 89-92,93and up 5.0s dont have forged pistons. 94sand95s have pcm fits when you start to do some mods.
Like i said before applies to any mustang LTs and full exhaust and gears
for a fox a good gear ranges from 3.55s-4.10s for the street.

i didnt know you were still looking but the lightest and most rigid is a notchback
and the heaviest and flimsiest is a vert.Come on join the darkside and buy a foxbody.

Any ways I really dont give a shit about what a foxbody can and what 95' cant do. I already got the 95' bought it sunday the 18 (yesterday). Fox bodys are pretty cool but god damn it I'm 16 and I need something to get to school in every day and be able to take my siblings to school on the way. And to convince my parents (actually my mom my dad was all for it) a 95' wasnt all that old and this one was good and reliable was more troubling than getting Prince to where men's clothes not to mention the GT part (once again mom not dad) but the car only had 98,000 miles on it and it was immaculate condition (I mean effen perfect like it was right off the showroom floor inside and out). So please no more suff about fox bodys.

Thats a 30 hp+ loss to the rear wheels with a manual trans.. Take off approx 10-15% more at the wheels for one with an auto trans...

Relax son.. I can tell your only 16.. If you like what you got then good for you.. But the fact of the matter is the Fox style is a better platform for modifactions.. If you dont want to hear about Fox's then go to the 94-95 section and you can talk about your SN-95 style in there... Bye..

Dudes sorry if I came off sounding pissed at you guys for trying to convince me to get a foxbody (which I forgot to mention I like and think are pretty cool cars. One of my brothers scout leaders has like 10 or more modded foxbodys and a few other cars from the same era and all of them are sweet as all get out.) but I needed something newer (my mom would never have let me get one as old a foxbody) and I wanted something close to the foxbody so thats why I went with the 95' not because I dont like the foxbody but because I wanted something close to it without getting an old car.

That and I dont plan on modding the car at all other than maybe replacing the factory low profiles and gettin a set of Bullits (charcoal grey, they would look awesome with my paint job). And as far as I know no mods have been made. A school teacher owned it before me and I dont think she modded it from the looks of it that and it was her daily driver which she also used to get her baby to day care. So no there are most likely no mods, bone stock, meaning when I am out of high school I have a fresh slate (a slate with the 5.0 v8 I might add) to modd and make my own (so that it'll become beastly as hell). Untill then I'm just biding my time hoping I dont wreck it or fuck it up some other way.

First you say you dont plan on modding it at all.. then later on you talk about a fresh slate to turn into a beast? huh? Anyway all Mustangs get modded sooner or later.. And you will not fuck it up. Dont drive like an asshole. I know you are 16 and think you are the best driver on the planet. Thats at least what most kids your age think.. I hope you dont. Take care of her and get some time behind the wheel learning how the car reacts... Good luck...
