will these heads still work?

I just got this mustang on craigslist and am looking to do some modifications. This car was a great deal for It came with a 94 5.0 and c4 with headers, holley carb, edelbrock aluminum intake, and new exhaust stystem. Future mods will be upgrading to electronic ignition, converting to manual, deleting a/c and smog pump, and upgrading heads. Here are some pics for you pic guys.

Now onto my question about the heads. I have a pair of 351w DOOE heads from my spair 302 in the garage. There is a good amount of corrosion around the bolt hole surface. I am wondering if these are usable as they are right now because I am in high school and don't have much money for a huge machining job.

And finally does anybody know where to get some cheap clutch pedal without going to the junkyard because mine overcharges everything.

Well my c4 is slipping and leaking right now so i though right now would be a good time for a conversion. I would really like an overdrive for better mpg because 3000 rpm on the highway sucks. I heard AODs are really weak if they weren't i would go that way. T-5 has that overdrive gear and a little bit stronger and manuals are fun. If anyone has suggestions on a good transmission on a budget then I will listen

well i just called up a machine shop close to me and it was $100 to mill a pair a heads alot cheaper than what i thought it was going to be. Now what i am wondering is if i get it milled .040 will I run into intake problems or compression problems? Can't I mill the intake side of the head and not ruin my intake? If so what would be the amount taken off for .040. Thanks for the help you guys have given me.
