question on power steering
so my car right now has no power steering..the pump is there and its hooked up...but the belt doesnt go around the pump...and the bracket is broke...so i assume thats why it doesnt have power steering. now i have driven it for a few months now..and it just came to me...could there be damage i am doing to it since its not hooked up. i am putting my other motor in it shortly and i am just going to hook it up then. so i will have to get a longer belt because right now...it just goes around the water pump crank and alternator...hopefully when i hook up the power steering pump all will work well.....maybe it doesnt work and thats y they unhooked it..and to save 5hp or whatever soince it was going to be a drag car aparently.
