My build thread (1982 GT)

I haven't posted on here in a while but I have been working on the stang a bit still.
I finished my 5 lug swap. 315's in back

Then I ordered Trickflow TW heads and was told I would have to wait a month since they were on back order. Since I had already torn the car down I decided it wasnt a bad time to paint it while I wait. I am about half way done right now just have some rust to take care of.

Then tonight I sprayed the hood scoop so I could see the color and make sure I like it. I do.

This is after 1 coat. Looks much better in person too. So now I am just down to some more sanding and fixing that rust when my buddy lends me his welder. I am going to try to get this done in about 3 more weeks. So far I have 2 weeks into the paint job.

Its dark metallic charcoal gray. Its summit paint. Im really happy with it

Well I have made some good progress lately. All of the rust is gone now. I have pics but I cant find my camera so those will wait. But the car is ready for primer now. Im going back over it again tomorrow and if im happy with my work I will spray some primer!

i want ur front clip soooo bad....i was ppissed when i got my 85 i came with a busted 91 clip....i like the 85 but i want a 82 sooo badddd.......u wanna sell it as is????? i buy it and u a beer n broad!!!

Yeah I'm lucky my parents are letting me do this in the garage. I hung up a large plastic sheet and its keeping most of it on my side but not all

I should have more progress pics tonight. I work 6 to 3 which isnt too bad but im so tired and sanding is so boring. But my new door handles, emblems, and locks got here today so I have some motivation
