headers for gt40p heads


how hard are gt40p headers to find and how much more would they run me?

My buddy used stock shorties on his car. I think MAC makes a P specific header.

From my understanding, you can use the regular shorties but its a total bitch to get to some of the plugs.

these is correct i believe that exel sells shorter spark plugs to give some more clearance

those short plugs don't last long in my experience with them. There are only a couple of headers that will work with both the p-heads and regular heads. BBK, I think, works both ways and maybe Mac. If you use a set of non-p headers on a p-head, the plug wires tend to burn rather quickly.

that is the equivalent of putting a band-aid on a sucking chest wound. The heat tape just prolongs the agony of when they WILL fail.
