Is it possible to fit the cobra heads from a 2003 (dohc) to the 5.0l?? If not, how much off are they? Anyone have bolt patterns?? Thanks

Nevermind, I think what I am going to do is get a 03 Navigator 5.4L DOHC block and build it for my race car. 32v is the way to go.

I suggest you read A LOT of material about engines in general before you start building a "race car".

"Facts" would be wondering if 351W heads would bolt up to a 302 block.

Asking if DOHC heads work on a pushrod motor is ignorance.

On topic: I think the swap will work, if you cover them in VTEC sauce.

Ok maybe I might have went over the edge on that one but dude... Have you seen a DOHC Cobra? Ok, now have you seen the 5.0l engines? ok...

So tell me do those engines even look the same?

Oh yeah, please don't go to Super 1 Foods asking for VTECH Sauce, that was a joke not a product

To add on to that, if you thought that a DOHC "head" will work in the 5.0 block, stop trying to work on your car and please pick up an manual on 5.0/5.8 blocks before asking questions like that. Everybody may ask a dumb dumb question like that but a question such as above will land you in the deepest pond of sludgy oils and mushy radiator fliud

I'm just curious if they are as good as what ARAO says they are.
