Well after cleaning up the engine bay the motor is finally in and almost back together. Still a little wiring to do and some small bugs to work out, but for the most part shell be ready in a week or so. Still have a tone of detailing to do before the Carlisle show. Anyway on to the pics

Here is my bay why dont you come to Upstate NY and do mine? Look at all those damn wires and hoses!! If you dont come and do mine I am gonna do it next winter.. Please come!!!

Tony, it takes some time to do the bay. My car has beeen laid up since september. I would suggest it as a winter project, if you have nothing better to do or do it when you upgrade your motor, ie. when the bay is empty.

Stangzilla, cleaning up the wires isnt so bad and you can clean it up a ton even with the motor in. Just pull the harneses into the fender wells. Then wrap them bye the radiator support and figure out a neat way to get everything to the right places. Its pretty self explanitory once you start. You might have to extend a few wires but no big deal. If I were closer to upstate I'd help ya out.

well my hookers sell my drugs...It is a win-win situation!!!

In all seriousness, I plan on buying it piece by piece, start with the block, get the machining done and buy the 393 kit, and then the top end, etc etc....

I am doing a few more things to my car, cam and some porting, gears, valve body...I got the gears, just not in yet! SUCKS, but then i am starting to save my money.

Working two jobs during the summer and not wasting my money should have the engine out of the way by the end of the summer, then need to buy a roller COUPE (OHHHH YYEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH) put the motor in, do supporting mods like fuel lines and suspension to hold everything well, get fitted for a turbo, buy the turbo....it will take a few years but i will be taking every issue seriously and no shortcuts....everything will be done right.

I do hope to have the motor by end of summer though!

I will be happy with a 13 second dd while i have a beast being built!

well it would be done in my garage.. I would go pick him up a few times if I had to for some help this coming fall if he was willing. I am a Bio-Medical Field engineer and I drive an average of 5-7500 miles a month.. No prob company vehical company gas... Its all good!!

Its nice to see such cars as 95opal's where not only has it gone through such extensive performance mods put also took the time to clean up the engine bay to that extent.......thats just a really awesome job......heck i would be happy just to have the power some of you guys are making not to mention the cosmetic work....someday i hope
