bb block chevy in a 94 mustang gt

hi i own a 94 mustang gt and im wanting to put a bb chevy motor. i know probably most of you guys think im f***** retarded but im wanting to make it unique. so is thier any kits out thier where i could bolt my c4 training to it. and what modifacations would i have to make for my motor mounts to fit on my after market k member. please if anyone has any advice tell me please.

sat when i went to the drag strip to watch pinks all out i was walking around the pit area and came across a fox with a chevy motor in it, not my cup of tea i dont mix and match but it seems like it fit well and yes they are cheaper to build

dude ih8chevy but still i have to admit their big blocks are better than a ford bb. but why in an sn95 body? why not put a bbf in it?

a buddy of mine has a 94GT with a 496ci twin turbo big block chevy in it with a th400 trans wich you will probably have to use. its pretty sweet.

the only problem i have wit this whole mix breed thing is, when people put chevy stangs together they get little criticism, b/c of whatever. but if someone were to put a ford motor in say a chevelle or slowmaro they would flip shit. i just dont like that fact.

One of my friends who has one of the fastest street cars in my area
has a single turbo 540cid BB chevy in his fox uses a powerglide
but a turbo 400 would work just as well.

Plus I've seen some pretty fast ass 460's so I mean just because a guy has 5.41 gears and the other has 3.73 gears, don't mean there the fastest. It
s gotta be how you place your power to the ground. Chevy is just cheaper recycled parts, that's why a whole NEW race engine costs only $1,000 hell it's "cheap shit". Like the homeboy I saw on here a while back...

Don't listen to these narrow minded idiots on here. AJE makes a K-member for the swap. You will need a GM trans. A TH400 will probably be your best bet or a powerglide if you are making a ridiculous amount of horsepower. I'm tossing around the idea of doing this swap in my car but I have a pretty good gig going right now with my small block program so I'm going to stick with that for now. A well built BBC in a Mustang will put a perma-grin on your face. I know of a few in my area that all run very low 8s and high 7s in the quarter.

My daily driver has 16 cylinders and 4400hp @ 1000 rpm....

That's not unique; a lot of people do that. If you want to be unique, put a 3 cylinder Geo Metro engine in there with three on the tree.

sound like a fun project i had a 70 formula 400 firebird with a 400 motor and 400 trans and that thing would chew up 5.0 all day long so a motor like that in a fox would be insane go for it and lets see some pics when its done

Nothing is easy in this hobby but it can be done. The main thing is to trial fit everything so you can see where you need to do any clearancing, if there is any to do at all. If you get all of the adapter parts (K-member, trans crossmember and headers) it isn't that hard of a project.
