Roller cams can handle more aggressive lobe ramp angles

Shot in the dark... Can You get a non rooler block and add roller lifters and rods and rockers. Then get a roller cam? Is it that easy or do I need to drill holes in blocks

There is a way to retro fit a non roller to a roller..I believe it is about 400-500 dollars though.

Corral has alot of great info on their Windsor forum, I have learned something just listening and reading threads.

Retro fit what? Don't mess with dumping factory cam, lifters, dog bones and spyder in an older block. Buy the right cam and aftermarket roller lifters. Everything drops right in. Real simple.

Alright, I just know I've seen blocks advertised as convert from non roller to roller. Didn't know if it was something more than flat tappet vs roller camshafts and lifters.

I thought you can drop in any set. Are the holes for the lifters bigger/smaller? F IT... What 351 roller block is just as strong as the 351 69-72 era blocks?

You will need the proper lifters. You can't just drop in lifters from a roller block into a non roller block.

Well seems that I will be snagging a 351 "WCP-8" block soon. It's roller block, are those blocks pretty sturdy for some big time n/a hp?

It will be plenty strong for an N/A engine.

Well i consider myself making the purchase, don't worry, I already got what's needed in order to plug and play. Other than the intake manifold, I need a flywheel, and maybe another clutch to handle the bigger HP I plan and by choice, a set of motormounts.

I saw that all the accessories will bolt right up like the alt p/s, w/p, etc. OH YEAH and I need another distributor so once my 351 arrives and has been placed. I'm selling my 302 dizzy <-- just learned than one from someone else LOL
