17 by 8 up front on a fox

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what backspace to use, this is on a 90 mustang. I plan on going with the bulletts from American Muscle that has a 5.72 b.s. and a 30 mm offset up front. Also does any of you fox body owners have 17 by 8's up front with coilovers? If so whats your brake setup and how much b.s. do you have? I know stangzilla has 17 by 8's with coilovers up front, I just want to know what the right b.s. would be before I buy them...thanks

Use "bksp" you know what b.s stands for LOL and you are not looking to put BS on your car LOL. Being on topic Darrell will give you the best results or my boy stangzilla will hook you up with the "RIGHT" info

I have 17x8 with a 5 inch backspace on mine.. 235\45\17 up front and 275\40\17 out back with no quad shocks..

Thanks for the info. I recently bought 245/45/17 nitto's for the front and 315/35/17 nitto DR for the rear. Now I just need the right size bksp for the front and rear...now at least I know what I need for the front

Well with the 5 inch back space in the rear with the 17x8 with 275\40
17 the tire barely rubbed the quad shock. I removed them because they are useless as long as you have after market arms.. I would say 5.5-6.. 315's are kinda wide so its gonna be close..

I have tubular lowers with adjustable uppers. I ditched the quads too because they rubbed with the 275/50 MT DR that I use for the track. I've heard that the nitto DR run a little narrower too, so I hope I can find the right size bksp for the rear
