Cooling Fan

I have an electric fan on my car and I dont know what brand it is but I do know it is a piece of crap. Can someone give me an idea on what electric fan from another car fits on a 1993 Mustang with little effort. I know it will require a little work but I want something that fits relatively easy and pulls lots of air...

I used a similiar setup on my car. Only I have twin electric fans and they keep it right where it needs to be year round.

Why do the job half assed? I have yet to see a retro fit from a scrapyard car look good at all. I've heard some guys swear that a Taurus or Windstar fan flows 8 million CFM and will cool off the sun but they never look right when they are installed. I'm running a Black Magic fan on my car and I've run one on every one of my other Mustangs. I've never had an issue with them and if you install it right, it looks like it is meant to be there. My car runs 170-175 degrees no matter if I'm in stop and go traffic or cruising down the highway.

Yeah I hear ya Darrell with the amount of money I have in my car you are right. But I have herd but dont know where that something about the new VW Bug fans fit really well. Believe me if it dont look good I wont put it on. I am just exploring options right now. My car runs like yours 170-175 while driving but when I stop it slowly goes up to 206. I know thats not bad and as soon as I start driving it goes right down. I want it to stay in the 170-175 range all he time though like yours.. Chances are I will end up gettin the same fan you have but $$ are a little tight right now cuz in a month or so I am gettin my driveway blacktopped and its gonna cost like 7 grand... I told the wife why dont we just leave it dirt and let me buy some dished pistons and a twin turbo kit but I am sure you know what the answer to that was. Not to mention my new motor only has 6700 miles on it...LOL

Most places quote the Taurus fan at 2500 CFM in low speed and 4500 CFM in high. It is also a popular choice for the 4x4 crowd as well. Great deal for $25 at a bone yard if you don't mind a little fabrication and you have the alternator to support it.

Yeah but then you have to buy the thermostat- the 75 amp Bosch relay ect... I am just gonna buy a real fan like Darrell said and I have been leaning toward it anyway.. Nothing on my car is Afro-American engineered ie..."****** rigged" so why start now...
