will i have to mess with my no cats, h pipe, and exhaust if i put on bbk equal length shortie headers or will they just bolt right up?

also will or should i need some kind of tune then? stock 5.0 (stock air cleaner) with no cats, h-pipe, jegs 2.5" exhaust if i get those headers?

you shouldnt have a problem bolting them up. and as far as tunes ou wouldnt need one.

same mounting positions, direct replacement. Equal length referrs to the length of the primarys.

Yea they bolten right up. All the shorty equal length means is all the pipes on the headers are the same length.

so both the standard bbk and the equal bbk bolt up the same, the equal length is just a better pipe because all the pipes are egual?

The equal length is better for horsepower and torque then the shorties but still not quite as good as a long tube.
