gas tanks
will a gas tank from a 89 2.3 fit a 84 5.0 and vise versa im doing a swap and its almost complete i need to find out if the gas tanks are switchable cause ones fuel injected and ones not

the gas tank shouldnt make a difference between fuel injected and non fuel injected. maybe there could be, i wouldnt think so at least

theres something diffrent because it wont go up into place what i can use the old tank just not the fuel pump cause i have a mechanical one on the 5.0 the 4cyl the one im wondering about i might just put the original tanks back up and get an external fuel pump for the 4cyl
