sway bar size


can someone tell me the size of the stock front sway bar, trying to buy some new bushings and they are giving me the choice of either 33MM or 31.5MM thanks for the help.

If you drag race take that fucker off..!!! Buy some Strange adjustable struts and you are good to go.. If you like the corners then leave it on...

The stock sway bar for 85-93 was 1 5/16in which is 33mm.

The 31.5 is for the 4 bangers and v-6 I bet. I will measure mine tomorrow and let you know since mines a swap car.

Ford actually used a couple of different sizes. What there reasoning was, I have no idea but I've seen many 87-93 GTs with different size sway bars. If memory serves me correct there are two different sizes that I've seen.
