Why at the worst times??

Only when I am sitting at idle(like in a traffic jam) the idle will droop bigtime. When I am out and about in normal traffic conditions I never seem to have any problems. I have a new IAC TPS is w/in range, I don't know what to do

Do you have underdrive pullies on the car? And do you have any engine codes? Have you checked your engine vaccum for possible leaks? Is there a heavy drain on the alternator for any reason like an aftermarket system playing and high amp electric fan(s) running with the stock 75 amp alternator? All could be possible causes of rpm drop at idle. I am sure other people on here can think of others too thats just off the top of my head.
