Rocker arm questions
I am going to replace the 1.7 crane roller rockers with another set to see if I can't eliminate some valve train noise. The new set of crane 1.7 rockers are identical, except for one thing, the fulcrum pivot seat. The set that is on the heads right now has this double fulcrum seat with radius's milled into the bar to house both exhaust and intake. The new set uses a type of individual nut that sits on a .03 thick piece of channel that houses both nuts for intake and exhaust. What I need to know is, can I just swap these rocker sets from one to the other without damaging anything in the motor?

Are you sure you don't have a set of stud mount and pedestal mount rockers? Do you have pictures or a link to a picture of similar rocker arms?

I do not have a picture or a link to any picture. Both of these sets of rockers uses what I believe to be a 5/16-18 bolt to hold down the rocker into the head. One set uses a Torx T-45 head and the other uses a 1/4 Allen wrench, I am pretty sure that these are not stud mounted, either one.
