wheel spacer


i have 14x8 and 14x5 wheels what kind of spacers will i need up front?? theyre weld wheels

I doubt you will be able to fit 14" wheels on the front. I think the brake rotors will interfere. Why would you want to step down to a 14" wheel anyway?

i just bought em used with tires for 75$ and the guy said he had em on a 4 lug mustang so i figured they would work

Probably a 4 cylinder car. They might fit, you'd have to try but I think you might have problems in the front. I don't think you will be happy with the way it looks. There is going to be alot of gap between the tire and wheel wells.

I know in 86 at least the following sizes were standard/available.

P195 75 R14
P205 70 R14
P225 60 VR 15

The 14 inchers (in the v-6) use a different axle and spindles/brakes/calipers up front then the 5.0 did. And of course a different rear axle as well (7.5 inch) though im not sure what all is different about the rear drums but I would bet they are smaller too.

i know theres going to be a big gap but i have caster camber plates and lowering springs and im gonna drop the car 2" in the front and keep the rear stock hight w/ some fatter tires

14"? That's something that would fit a Smart or a CRX.. but for a Mustang it will have a handicap look.
