1982 GT Replace 7.5 With 8.8 Inch Rear End
I am looking to upgrade my rear end to an 8.8" and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what will fit, are any 86-93 rear ends going to be a direct fit or will there me modifications to be made regardless? I have a 302 with a C4 transmission. Also should I get a specific gear ratio with a locker or just plan on rebuilding the rear end with new gears and an aftermarket locker?

Thanks for the info I just wanted to be sure before I buy one form a junkyard, rebuild it, and go to put it in and run into problems.
