mine has 190,000....Yep they are worth it...I know people modding them with over 200,000....Might want a rebuild sometime and just keep the maintenance normal and you are good.

Getting off topic here but...
I passed 100K in my 1991 in 1995. 1991 was the last model year Ford only had a 12month/12K mile warranty and I exceeded that in about 4 months. All four of the Goodyear Gatorback tires expired at about the same time as well

if you're gonna put alot of money into an engine, I would recommend u get a bigger displacement-forged engine so it would be more worth your time and money

Only a rich man with a lambo would say to get a FORGED BLOCK?!? lol ... Just get a 351w motor from 71-94 for probably 300 bucks and spend the extra $300 - $500 for rebuilding including bore, honing and whatver that shock they give the block to wipe out that dirt is, and get you some pistons and what nots then call it a day.

You guys have to much $$$. Nothing wrong with 100k on a 302. If you're gonna SC it, change your gaskets though!

You used to throw a car away when it hit 100,000 miles. Now you give it a tune up when it hits 100,000.....
