SUP MAN!!
To be honest you might feel the performance difference. I have a 160* in mine right now and it runs perfect. Most people will say 180* is good which I do beleive but I'm always going for the extra. I would say a 160 if you've had some mods done. I run a little cool but my car sure as hell runs great

well guys with modded engines change the thermostat from the stock 180* to about 160-175* there really is no gain from it except when the negine reachs that temp. it opens up and allows the water/anti-frz in and thru the water jackets cooling the cylinder walls, but like i said there really is no gain

180 is fine - I run a 160 in mine cause that's what KB recommends, but I read that the lower the thermostat, the more cylinder liner wear increases...

Re: Thermostat
I dont know about a performance gain but Moroso makes a nice high flow piece that I have but I also have a high flow water pump so I figured it would aid in water flow.. If you are lookin to change it cuz you are gonna get more hp its not worth the time or effort..
