2.3 to 5.0 swap

I know this has been discussed to death, but I have some specific questions. I have a 88 gt convertable that has been wrecked. (son attacked a streetlight). The alternator, alternator bracket, radiator, and fan clutch were destroyed. Got lucky and found a 93 4 cylinder lx with a PERFECT body for cheap. Here are the questions:
1. Can I use the electric fan that is in the 93? if so, how do i wire it up?
2. Converting from AOD to manual?
3. Can I upgrade the 88 5.0 to MAF using the 93 MAF? (Or is it worth it)
4. Wiring/computer issues?
5. Any other tips on how to make this as painless as possible.

I should have almost all of the parts i need, in fact I probably have a lot I might not need (rear body parts, interior ect.) so if anybody is looking for something, I might be able to help!

um first off the fan should hook right up, the only diffrence i believe was the shroud, 2nd AOD to manual is a little hard, theres a website i know of that shows this, ill find it and post it later, 3rd im not totally sure about the MAF sensor, 4th youll need a wiring harness and the EEC and 5th im sur other people can help you with that, there really is no such thing as painless work

Hey TurboLX,

how much boost are you pushing at the moment? Also, name a few ricers or other cars you've stomped.
