331 stroker or 306 stroker? S/C or N/A

I can't decide which one to do I have 5g's to spend on the motor I was thinking new stroker kit, kenne bell 2.1L supercharger. What do you guy's think about this setup? Also the car has 176,000 miles on it should I think about replacing anything? It has 4.10 gears should I go down to 3.55?

The kenne bell is cool and all but gives a lot of low end torque on a car that already has traction issues, i would go vortech or paxton IMO, but first i would take some of that money and do a fresh rebuild

A 306 is just a 302 bored .030 over, with the same 3" stroke. If you're deciding between strokers, go with the 347. What heads and intake do you already have?

Also, going stroker and FI on a stock block is asking for trouble. You can make enough power to break the block with that combination, especially if your tune isn't spot on.

Don't a few member here run 347's w/ Juice? (Stock block)

I'm not saying it will explode instantly, but it is a split block waiting to happen. Some get lucky and don't break the block, some crack it right in half. If I were going to spend all that money on a stroker kit and machine work, I wouldn't want to take that chance... This being said, I'm spraying my 306 until it shits the bed, but I'm at least expecting it and it will be my excuse to go with a dart.

5 grand for a stroker AND a Kenny Bell, Please let me know where you are buying your parts, the block alone to handle that will cost you around 2,500 so you only have half left!

Take it from me, don't do a stroker unless you have MAD amounts of money to throw at it, I am 10 grand in the hole and that is without any labor, machine work, aftermarket block, suspension, wheels and tires. I did go with all new parts and spent some serious scrilla on my heads that you could skip but other than that it is pricey.

Go over to corral and find you a used vortech and slap on there and go have fun it will be a beast, or for around 5 grand I believe you can get a kit from boost brothers and turbo it. Thats what I would do next time, especially living here in MX cause its such a pain to get machine work and parts.
