T-5 question

Any one ever use a turbocoupe t-5 behind a mildly modded V-8, summit or maybe late model restoration? sells a rebuild kit and it list that it can be used for turbo coupe and SVO t-5s, are they the same as the v-8?????? thanks I am doing a v=8 swap and have a turbo coupe parts car so it will save me alittle money if i can use the t-5.

different gear ratios for first and fifth and it takes a different pilot bearing other than that i think there the same

torque rating is less... but in my mind all t5's are made of glass

I think the gears might be made from a different material and the input shaft might be a diff size
