Power Steering

Well yall finally get everything back in and running right except now my damn steering feels like .......Well kinda like a go -kart. My Power Steering Pressure Hose is leaking fluid pretty rapidly . It will empty over night I was wondering if this is what may be the cause?? it seems like WHILE there is fluid it would steer normal until it lost the fluid?Or unless its bc of pressure loss?? I dunno.. ALSO the steering arm is hitting my dipstick tube . could anyone tell me maybe how the dipstick tube should be routed ? Like which header pipe the dipstick tube bracket should be on and if it would be routed a certain way to clear steering arm ? TIA

And how hard is it to replace the Power Steering Pressure Hose for a beginner like me?

its not very hard. I did it in my driveway. mine would spit fluid out when i cranked the wheel. I bought a 20 dollar one at autozone and it was fine. Just, tightening it down to the rack was kinda hard

make sure to wrap the threads with Teflon tape. It will make your life easier when you dont have to worry about leaks down the road.

It needs fluid to function. once it gets below that dipstick it will get harder and louder. Upon being empty it wont work, so yes, you are correct. The dipstick should go between the 6 and 7 cylinders If I recall correctly. Get an open end and loosen the line and unbolt the pump. Nothing to it.
