Mustang LX '92 to '86 Front Fascia Conversion
I would like to convert my '92 nose and headlights to the older '86 quad-headlight fascia. I reckon I wouldn't be able to just pop in the older '86 headlights and grill without changing other cosmetics such as the front bumper, hood, or the side fender I suppose, so I would like to know what parts I'd have to purchase in addition to the headlights or whether or not I need to replace anything else at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Wrong, You have to change the Hood, front facia, and fenders to get your car to look like that.

To do it right you'll need to change the front end, hood , rear bumper cover , the side and door moldings. The moldings from the square light cars and the aero cars are different and unless you swap everything I told you too then you'll end up with a car with mismatched moldings. Oh yea, you'll also have to cut and splice your wiring harness to account for the extra headlight and different plugs. You do have good taste as the 86 cars , especially the black coupes, are pure SEX !
