new times.

1st pass, 10#, left with no 2step: 11.2492 @ 128.41 Shakey as hell, car was all over the place. I lifted. I did a short burnout. 1.82 60"

2nd pass 12#, left at 4800 on the 2step. 10.2527 @ 127.55 It felt sooo good. Power shifted perfect every gear(1st time that I never missed a gear)

I will soon hit 9.99 that is my new goal. I'm stoked!!!

Congrats, looks like you hooked a lot better on the second run. Whats the combo you're running? ... and how the hell did you lift and still run more MPH than a perfect shifted run?

I have no idea, about the mph. I lifted around the 1/8 mile the first run, corected, and got back in it. I should have clarified that.

it hooked decent the first run, the second run was picture perfect. If you dont powershift with this goofy blow off valve vents all the boost, and you have to spool back up EVERY damn shift. Poershifting solved that. my other option was just to un-plug the vac line to the blow off valve.

I'm thuper exthited tho.

I hope not. I hit the 10.2, and I had the urge to push another 4lbs into it, but a good buddy was there, and asked me if I wanted to drive it home, or tow it home. So I left with the low 10, and my block in one solid piece.

No tune on this bitch either... wideband stayed in the 10-11 range from 5500-redline i saw 12's on it. I didnt exactly watch it the whole run tho. so it was safe.

As for the setup. this was the farewell appearance of the old setup Its the stock bottom end, procomp 215cc. 2.08" 64cc. fcam, stainless rockers, typoon intake, on3 turbokit. 3.55's thru a t5 30#ers with an 6:1fmu... thats right 90+#'s of fuel pressure. I shit trains...Now what?

The t5 took it, but I noticed, on the return road when I put it in 5th, it was howling loud, only in 5th tho, thats the only gear i dont use in the 1/4. IDK.

Plans were allready in motion. It will be an 8.2 motor. that is all.

I was thinking of selling this fox, as is, or trade for a 25.2, or 25.5 roller, then but the new 8.2 motor in that. THat would take good timing, and all things would have to be in the right place at the right time tho.

also, I have some good expireience at the track, and in my opinion, the 10.2 will not be improved upon without more boost. the car performed as perfect as I could have asked for. I figure its pretty much topped out, and dont wanna make some paperweights. I do wanna get a dyno tho, see if im past the point of breakage or not.

congrats, sounds like a blast.

I too doubted the on3 kit, but more and more it seems they are holding up well, and performing right.

What are your suspension mods? Also what is the weight with you in the car?

makes me want to scratch my 351w plan, get rid of the bottle, and get that on3 kit. lol

I dunno, if you got out and back in it and still had more MPH than your best run, I'd say that car has 9's in it for sure. Especially with a 1.8 60ft... but at the same time, you're right, if you keep pushing it, you're probably going to end up with some paperweights even if you don't turn up the boost.. That's still impressive for a stock bottom end though. Just more proof that it's not what you got, it's how you put it together.

90/10's 4cyl front springs. 50/50's some kind of progressive rate rear springs.

On our truck scale, with a fresh calibration(dont know how accurate at lower weight, they cal it with a 5k lb weighted tractor) it was 2960 with me in it, and 1860 was on the front tires.

the 1.8 60' was the 11.2, the 10.2 was a 1.67

I would love a 9.99, but I honestly think it will break.
