oil dipstick


Discussing oil dipstick in the 5.0 Mustangs Forum. with the factory exhaust manifolds was there a bolt or something that held the dipstick ...

oil dipstick

with the factory exhaust manifolds was there a bolt or something that held the dipstick tube down? I dont know if I still have the factory ones or just really old headers and the dipstick just hangs in loose. I pulled it all the way out one time by mistake and it was a pain to get back in.

On mine, there is a bracket attached to the tube that bolts to the headers. Mine is a '91 powertrain...

there should have been a bracket on the tube its self that bolts to the header bolts
