widest, badest looking tire/wheel fit on my 84 GT?

17by 9s fit with little work. 245/45/17s on 17by9s up front
and 275/40/17s out back on 17by9s

someone told me 315/35/17 would work on a 9" rim with quads removed and aftermarket lower control arms. 12.5"w tire on a 9" rim? are they serious?

hey itzboss 315s on a 9in rim is unsafe dont do it.Thats why tire manufactures have a guideline on rim size for a specific tire size.
the later mustangs put those on 10.5 in wheels which wont fit a fox
body
