transmission fluid
ok this isnt a hard question but i dont have access to my book to my car right now and i dont know the answer maybe one of you guys can tell me what weight and type of transmission fluid goes in a 1992 mustang gt

mercon V can be used on a manual tranny along with a auto because mines 5pd and i dont want something to go to shit on me

I got a '91 w/ a T-5 (5spd) It takes Mercon/Dexron III
MercV is a universal trans fluid. It can be put into anything. Even a Mopar.

sweet guys thanks for the info hopin to have my stang back on the road in the next couple weeks also what the break in period for a new clutch isnt it 3,000 miles ????
