Stumbling problem part 2...

As some of you have read my car was having a misfire issue spontaneously. Some days I thought i might have even fixed it but the son of a bitch is still here.

My turbo kit goes on this weekend and I need to give this one more shot.

The good and bad news is that the problem is getting worse the last few days. When the car is cold it barely runs and misses bad all over the place. Once it warms up it seems to clear but still runs rough at part throttle and seems good at WOT but has an occasional miss at WOT.

Sometimes the idle is smooth but the last few days it has been hunting a little bit.

Codes it is throwing are all EGR related (and my EGR has been deleted)

I have replaced the following:

Spark Plugs/Wires

Ignition Coil

IAC

Ignition Module

02 sensors

Checked grounds (as best I could)

The turbo kit comes with 44lb injectors and calibrated MAF. The car will also get a MSD 6AL at this time.

I'm hoping one of those turbo components will fix my issue.

What are the odds of it being the distibutor or PCM? Could it be the TPS?

Anybody have any thoughts before the turbo goes on?

Thanks!

Do you have a vacuum gauge? I would check your vacuum at idle.

Just pull a vac line off the tree for something like your heat controls or your cruise and hook up the vac gauge to that.

Air temp sensor on the intake runner, and coolant temp sensor for the ecu, not the gauge. The one in the heater tube. Without reading your other thread, I assume you did the base idle reset, and all that jazz?

I will try the idle reset as well tomorro...

Just to clarify...

I connect the vaccum gauge to the air temp sensor once the car is fully warm up? Or do I connect it to the tree?

Another thing I have noticed is that I hear an air sound when I pump my brake coming from the pedal...is that normal?

I have read there is a vaccum down there but would that cause my problem?

any part of the tree? thanks...I will replace those two sensors as well. I already replaced the sensor that control the temp on the coolant gauge...the one with the rubber elbow plug...

that sensor can cause issues as well. if its OEM, its probably worth replacing anyway.

check the vacuum tree for starters. then head to the passenger fender well where the EGR vacuum lines and solenoids were/are. maybe you left one open?
