blown head gasket?

Ok so now that I've got one problem fixed now I've got another, my car started running hot and I did completely burp the system and now I am constantly needing to put more coolant in it or else it runs wayyyyy to hot, and now today I've started blowing smoke out of the passener side tailpipe, it smells almost like coolant out of the tail pipe too. So wt do u guys think? Blown head gasket?

If you didn't do the lower intake gasket right, it can dump coolant into the cylinders. If that's what you replaced, it's a pretty good bet that's where the problem is.

What could I have done wrong? I used the right stuff around the coolant ports and put new gaskets down.

There could be a few things. I don't know for sure on these cars because I haven't done one wrong yet, but in general you can put them in upside down, torque the bolts too much, not torque them enough, not align them properly.. I'm sure there's a couple more reasons. I had one blow open like your old ones and it dumped coolant into the cylinder and smoked like a head gasket, but this was on a chevy pickup and not a 302 so I can't really give you specifics. Maybe someone who has more experience with this on a 302 can chime in.

Also not saying that's your issue for sure, but it seems a likely suspect considering that you just replaced them. That would be a pretty good coincidence that your head gasket would go right after you put new intake gaskets on.

Are there bubbles in the radiator when the engine is warmed up?

No I burped the system more than once, I jacked the front of the car up, took the cap off the radiator and let it run and filled it as it went until it stopped with the bubbles and was just spilling coolant out of the radiator

Even if you did burp it at first, if there is a blown gasket letting air in it may be letting some bubbles in it. You could also have a leak at the EGR block where the coolant passes through.

if you do a lower intake gasket install, do yourself a favor and do not use the 2 short gaskets that come with the kit. Instead lay a nice bead of RTV silicone in place of it.
