About how many HP do you think a tubular would add??

I'm looking into finding a pretty good intake, but I'm tryin to at least stay under $400. Any ideas??

Tubular will get you around the same as an Exploder/Cobra I believe. There's a great graph on some site with the flow numbers. But everyone knows the tubular is just that... tubular dude.

im not sure on the exact numbers but like firaga stated it flows close to the same as the explorer and cobra intakes which are way cheaper.

The HP gain of this modification is around 15 hp if you keep the stock 60mm. By all means get a 65mm TB to get the full potential out of your new intake. Aftermarket heads are 100% recommended, this is the biggest restriction of the 5.0 engines.

Sounds like a good fair estimate.

some of the numbers in that are bogus - the Explorer flows essentially the very same as the Cobra and GT40 and the Saleen flows more than that too.

How much more HP would the cobra/tubular gt40 intake give over stock intake?? I've been looking into either the cobra intake, the gt40 tubular intake, or the edelbrock typhoon intake. Do yall have any opinions on those??
